About Guy
Guy is a native Texan and grew up in La Marque, a small town just outside of Galveston, Texas. He graduated high school in 1977 and years later while working in law enforcement, he met his future wife who was a Registered Nurse.
Guy spent 17 years as a police officer, most of it with the Dallas Police Department where Guy was a Senior Corporal / Pilot in the Helicopter Section. Guy assisted in police chases, flushed out armed assailants, flew Presidential escorts and performed search and rescue operations throughout the Dallas metropolitan area.
In 1993, the Gimenez family was blessed with a healthy baby boy who is still their pride and joy.
After completing his law enforcement career in 1999 and while considering his move from the government sector to the private sector, Guy recognized his Criminal Justice degree would not advance him in the field of real estate. So, he immersed himself in every real estate educational opportunity available and within three years, Guy earned the three most widely recognized national designations (Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Graduate, Realtor Institute (GRI) and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), an achievement that few agents achieve in their entire career. Fewer than 4% of all agents nationwide hold the PhD's of real estate designations...the CRS. Guy knew early on in his real estate career that education was the key to better serving his clients and differentiating himself from the multitude of new agents.
In addition to earning these designations, Guy has continued his education and became a licensed broker as well. Guy has focused on in-depth study of contracts, addenda, title commitments, surveys and other detailed issues surrounding real property transactions, allowing Guy to gain a much deeper understanding in each of these areas and he's able to use his knowledge and skills to place a seller or buyer in a better leveraged position during negotiations and throughout contract administration, thereby reducing the risks of litigation for his clients. Isn't it time for you to Experience The Difference!
